Oak Street Bootmakers x ButterScotch - Black Oil Tan Roughout Trench Boots 11.5
This build sits upon a Vibram 100 lug sole and stacked heel on the Oak Street Trench Boot Last.
We wanted to create a sleek, yet ruggedly refined roughout boot with a meaty sole.
We hand selected the Oil Tanned Roughout from Seidel Tannery for a roughout that shows some matting around stitching points and patches throughout the leather for an uneven texture that will only get better and "neppier" with time. We're all about creating custom pieces that will not only last but age beautifully. The Oil Tan Roughout is exactly that. To keep in-line with the refined state of mind for this build we flipped the hide for the tongue construction for the smooth side out and roughout grain internalized in the boot.
A 270 degree Goodyear flat welt stained in a deep dark brown for a subtle yet tasteful contrast to the black stack above and below.
Brushed gunmetal hardware with six eyelets and two speed hooks and Black tonal stitching throughout the boot.
The Black Oil Tan Trench Boot is a limited production style and only available through ButterScotch.
