So what are these rugged Thorogood boots made out of exactly? The 11-inch uppers are composed of trail crazyhorse leather, which is a durable material meant to fight off abrasions. Leather is used in products built to last, and that's why Thorogood decided to use it in the design of the men's boots. To add to the long-lasting wear, the brown boots are built using Goodyear welt construction. This creates a dependable bond between the uppers and the outsoles.
The interiors of the steel toe boots are all about comfort. There are dual-density Ultimate Shock-Absorption footbeds, along with Poron comfort cushion insoles to give your feet the cushioning they need. The comfortable footbeds are also removable, so you can take them out whenever you'd like to - you might want to air them out, clean them, or eventually replace them down the road. The men's footwear also has single-density polyurethane MAXwear INDY outsoles that have 90-degree heels.
