The latest iteration of the epic 18oz. Slubby Selvedge by PBJ opts for a Black weft for that Indigo x Black Selvedge composition. The jeans, with the tonal black indigofera leaf, tonal stitching construction and black leather patch may feel underwhelming upon first glance. But a few wears in, and that super slub will start to rear its head along with the hues of indigo, as the fabric lightens in color with wear.
Like many of Pure Blue Japan's jeans, the fabric is of a low-tension shuttle loom, thus featuring the slubby and hairy feeling fabric common to Pure Blue Japan denim.
