Description Thanks for stopping by my listing for an original pair of JNCO jeans that are from the late 1980's. These jeans are 100% Cotton and made in the U.S.A. back when JNCO first came into production and all the styles had a name. I call these First generation JNCO jeans. If you don't know what I mean by that, please read my History of the JNCO jeans company at the end of this description. I'm putting all the JNCO jeans I haven't worn in a long time up on eBay. Jeans in my auction photos often appear lighter in some of the pictures. True color can better be seen in the cuff pictures. I think it was due to the lighting and angle of taking the pictures. Remember shadows sometimes look like dark areas! Remember as well color may vary depending on the device you are using to view this sale. JNCo 1st Generation Name: CROSSTOWN Model #: 307 Tagged sizing: 33 W x 32 L inches Bottom opening as stated by JNCO: 23 inches These old-school jeans size differently than today's skinny jeans. These jeans have large 23 inch bottoms! Cool multi-colored crowned JnCo J design on right rear pocket. 4 pocket design with oversized back pockets measuring 10 by 8 inches (inside area between the seams). On this pair the tagged size is close, but the waist measures about an inch smaller. To ensure you of a proper fit, I take measurements with the jeans laying flat and are as follows: Waist: 16 inches across (double for total waist size) Inseam: 32 inches Bottom opening: 11.5 inches (double for total bottom size) Rise: 12 inches Outseam (overall length): 42.5 inches Will they fit me? Measure your favorite jeans laying flat and compare your findings to the above measurements. Check the material too because 100% cotton and cotton blends do not fit the same! If you buy them and they do not fit, that will be on you. Noted wear or flaws on these JNCO Jeans: Notice expected cuff fraying. These jeans have been washed and line-dried. No dryers were used after washing! Yes, these are pre-owned by me, the original owner. I was JNCO boy back in the day. I wore nothing but JNCO jeans. That included at work. I have the destroyed JNCO jeans to prove it. I might even list some of those..... I bought any JnCos that were my size that I liked when I could find them long enough. So I accumulated quite a few styles of JNcos when I used to wear baggier jeans. I'm keeping my JNCO's that have narrower legs since I still wear the same size! I loved my JNCO's and took reasonable care with them while I've had them. These particular JNCO jeans may have possibly been involved in any of these following activities: Attended car shows, clubs, drag races, raves, punk rock concerts, gatherings of the Juggalos, industrial or heavy metal shows. Therefore they have likely been on dance floors, in mosh pits, had stage divers climb on them or had their cuffs walked on, or had things that leave stains touch them. So they are absolutely pre-worn. These jeans have standard wear in places such as whiskering around the edges, corners, seams or worn areas other than the cuffs. There may be spots, discoloration or stains that I did not see or missed. These things, I my opinion, just add to the character and to the story embedded into these jeans. But you may not agree and consider these flaws so I ask that you view the all the pics in full zoom. Know what you are buying as I will not accept returns on these jeans unless I sent you the wrong pair. Non smoking home, but there is a cat! My version of JNCO history: JNCO jeans was founded in Los Angeles California in 1985 to answer the then growing market for baggy jeans. They didn't just produce baggy jeans, their jeans were artistic in design, stylish, unique and very well made in the USA of USA 100% cotton materials. They also had another cool thing going for them - each pair of jeans had their own name, not just a model or style number, although they had those too. The names tied into the jeans designed theme was placed on the inside waist label along with their model number. These are the First generation of JNCO jeans, easily ID'd by the double stacked Made in USA tags AND the name of the jeans being on the large tag. Later USA product inside waist label no longer stated the name of the jeans, but the name remained on the single Made in USA tag. Second generation. The last of USA production had a different tag without any name on the tag, as the name idea was apparently dropped. Third Generation. In the early 90's assembly was moved to Mexico (as did so many other companies back then). This Forth generation is distinguished by the tags stating Made in Mexico of USA components. Eventually they used up all the USA material and the jeans began to simply state Made in Mexico. That became the Fifth Generation of JNCO jeans and unfortunately the denim quality was not as good as the USA material was. Retail prices dropped slightly back then as super baggy styles faded. They started to make jeans with less extreme leg opening sizes. Eventually production shifted to “denim experimentation worldwide” and the Sixth Generation was born. Those Sixth Generation jeans came from varying sources including Bangladesh, China, Indonesia, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Vietnam among others. Near the end of the 90's, production ceased. Around 2016, JNCO jeans production started once again and a Seventh Generation was born and as I see by their website, continues today to answer to the anti-skinny jeans movement.
