These jeans are a beautiful color. They honestly would have been my daily driver jeans if they fit better on me. Unfortunately they are a bit big for me. They were around $300 new, and look lightly worn.

Description:
The GRE “Greencast Indigo” is Pure Blue Japan’s mid-weight greencast selvedge denim. This denim features traditional indigo mixed with a green sulphide dye, giving the denim its distinct vintage blue color and sea-green undertone. Woven slowly for an uneven and loose weave, this denim retains heavily textured characteristics at a comfortable 12oz weight. Finished with custom iron buttons, a natural deerskin leather patch, and the signature Pure Blue Japan indigofera leaf embroidery. The denim has gone through a rinse process to remove shrinkage allowing for a ready to wear denim, no soak necessary.

About the style/cut:
The Relaxed Tapered -019 cut has a lengthy set of rises, a wide thigh and aggressive taper from the knee down creating a highly aesthetically pleasing silhouette, while still being entirely comfortable.

“Experts in both old and new indigo dying techniques, PBJ have drawn from the past to make a truly beautiful new Green-tinted future. The texture of the jeans, made, of course, on the classic PBJ vintage-machine looms is fairly slubby, combined with a neppy finish.
The warp of this pair has a subtle colour shift across the dye, creating a ‘blue-in-green’ look, giving it a truly unique sheen! With ongoing use the vertical texture will become stronger across the jeans, which will make the greenest pop even more. This means, over time, the pronounced green hue contrast will reveal itself as an amazing aurora light show!
Made to last, with vintage machine chain stitch and roped belt loop construction, these are built to get better with time. The riveted back pockets will also keep things secure for many years to come! The high-density veg-tanned sheepskin patch will gradually soften with a rich patina like Japanese whiskey. Silver coat iron buttons and copper rivets will oxidise and shine up with wear & tear”
