From my research, this company makes very nice jeans, they are built a little different. I attached some of their websites sizing charts. I would go to their website for more information. They said it takes a while for them to break in.

One more thing. At Gustin, we don't use vanity sizing. Most customers order a larger waist size in our jeans than they do in other brands. “So, it sounds like they run smaller than normal jeans”
SLIM FIT
This is our modern slim cut. We’ve dropped the rise as compared to the straight fit so it sits lower on the hips. The thigh has been brought in along with the knee and there is a slight taper to the cuff. Definitely a more fitted look, but very wearable
