Super rare to find 32oz denim by Naked and Famous. No longer made. Pants seem to have been cropped short , 27 inches length, light wear, not completely broken in yet ready for new owner!
Selvedge is woven in Okayama on vintage shuttle looms and is unimaginably hard to produce. The fabric is roughly 3x the weight of conventional denim. It uses a size 1 x 0.5 thick yarn which is the same used to make heavy carpet or sailboat sails. Sewing these jeans required 3 sewing operators to build 2 pairs per day. Too heavy to sanforize, the denim is unsanforized. Naked & Famous Denim Owner, Brandon Svarc, likes to joke "Guaranteed uncomfortable or your money back." Other details include contrast stitching, a super thick 12-15oz cowhide leather patch (that can only be applied by hand), red selvedge ID, dark copper waist button and rivets. The Weird Guy is a regular tapered fit; medium rise, standard thigh and slight taper from the knee to hem.
