I put the original tag measurements along with measurements I take in the title for customer assurance. The 'Actual' measurements are taken when the item is laying flat. The waist is measured with the front and back running flush together, similar to how it looks in the photo. The inseam is measured from where the bottom of the rise seam and the top of the inseam meet, down to the ankle hem, and not from the bottom of the fly down to the ankle hem. The length measurement is done on the front while the item is folded in half and runs down the center of the leg.
