1960s/1970s vtg BROOKS blk LEATHER CAFE RACER MOTORCYCLE JACKET w/ LINER 38 XS/S
Brooks Sportswear original vintage men’s black cafe racer jacket.
Made in USA in the late 1960s to earlier 1970s.
Black leather shell.
Full zip w/ Talon zippers.
Snap closure at top (2nd snap doesn’t function).
Diamond quilted removable liner.
Relatively slim fit.
Action bi-swing back shoulders.
Grommet armpit vents.
Beautifully worn-in condition showing amazing patina. A few flaws to mention. First there is a small tear in the leather on the inner flap (invisible when worn zipped). Second, the outer of the two neck snaps does not close. The inner part has pulled off and remains stuck in the other part. Could be repaired or worn as-is. There is also a bit of tearing in the left inner lining at armpit. Easy fix or wear as is. Also someone has sewn a long black leather flap inside the main zipper to keep the zipper on track and protect the lining. You can see it featured in the last two photos. Lastly, the inner lining has the Brooks patch on the inside neck so that when it’s zipped in you can’t see it. See all photos and please don’t hesitate to ask questions as all sales are final.
