Anine Bing (born 30 November 1982) is a Danish model, singer, and creative director, the founder of Anine Bing, a women's fashion label based in Los Angeles, California.
Modeling
Anine was born Anine Irmelin on November 30, 1982, in Denmark, of Danish/Brazilian ancestry. She grew up in Sweden and over the years, has lived and worked in London, Stockholm, Los Angeles, Belgium, Hamburg, and Johannesburg, eventually settling in the United States.
Bing began modeling at the age of 15 and has been represented by Place Model Management of Hamburg, Germany; VMG Models of Gothenburg, Sweden; and Stockholmsgruppen Models of Stockholm, Sweden. She has appeared on the cover of the Swedish men's monthly magazine Café three times. She has also appeared in other Swedish men's magazines Moore and Slitz. She has modeled for such brands as Ellesse, Ellos (catalog), Message, Ragno, and Stadium. Most recently in March 2022, she was seen on the cover of the Serbian edition of Ellemagazine.
In 2002, Anine was part of a modeling campaign "For Play" for an Italian sportswear company called Ellesse. The campaign's billboard was banned by the City of Birmingham in England for being too risqué. The city's council ruled that a huge billboard of Bing, 5 feet 9 inches, and 34-24-35 on a tennis court and waiting for the rain to stop was not appropriate for the location.
Anine Bing
In 2012, Anine launched her eponymous fashion line Anine Bing. The brand was well received and has received a lot of media attention both in Sweden and in the USA. She serves as the Chief Creative Officer and her husband, Nicolai Bing, is the Chief Executive Officer for the label.
